SYMBOLS OF KLP

In addition to "KLP" being the official  acronym behind the name of our Greek organization, "Kappa Lambda Psi", it is also a common abbreviation for three symbolic characteristics/ qualities that all sisters are encouraged to continue to develop and embrace: Kinship, Love, and Pride.

In further expanding on the Kinship, Love, and Pride the sorority has other symbols that represent these characteristics such as seen below.

Lamb

Our mascot is a Lamb. The lamb is representative of the purity of heart that we, the sisters have.

Candle

Another one of our symbols is the candle. The candle is the burning flame of knowledge that we, the sisters, possess.

Star

Our final symbol is the Star. The Star guides the sisters through life's endeavors.

Diamond

One of our symbols is a Diamond. A diamond is valued, unique, and cherished as is each sister.
